As with any natural health product, you should consult a health care practitioner prior to use, especially if you are taking any medication, including blood pressure medication, or if you have a medical condition including diabetes, kidney stones, liver disease, iron deficiency or a history of non-melanoma skin cancer. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of severe hypoglycaemia such as sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and confusion, or if you develop symptoms of liver disorder such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and loss of appetite. Do not use if safety seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerine. KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Rare unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with products containing green tea extract have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
