St. Barnabas is Le Naufrageur's take on the classic Irish stout. All in coffee and chocolate, this oatmeal beer has a creamy texture. Its opaque black color suggests a roasted taste and the bitterness of a good espresso. This beer highlights the various functions that the St-Barnabé took on during her maritime career. He served as a deminer for the Canadian army. Subsequently, it was transformed into a school boat for the Institut maritime du Québec. In the end, he took a well-deserved retirement on one of the beaches of the bay at Carleton-sur-Mer. Since its debut, St. Barnabas has been ranked among the top 10 dry stouts in the world on the Ratebeer website.
