Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Frelighsburg in the Eastern Townships, Quebec-based family business Oneka offers natural personal care products made from plants organically grown on its farm.
Oneka (meaning "water" in Mohawk) was founded in 2008 by Philippe Choinière and Stacey Lecuyer. Their goal? To have a positive impact on the health of people and on the environment. To do so, the couple has developed effective and natural personal care products (free of harmful ingredients such as sulphates, parabens or synthetic fragrances) made with local, organic and biodegradable ingredients with unique fragrances. Face cream, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, hand sanitizer…each Oneka product is made with plant extracts organically grown on the company's farm, whose vast fields are cultivated according to the principles of permaculture.
