The essential oil of True Cinnamon is derived from the interior bark of the Cinnamon of Ceylon tree found in Sri Lanka once known as Ceylon whence its name Cinnamon of Ceylon. A well-known spice, true cinnamon has been exported worldwide for more than 4000 years. Its woody scent, with pleasingly sweet and spicy notes, has been used in oriental spices and perfumes. Steam distillation of the bark produces the essential oil.

    • Cinnamon -True-Bark essential oil is used in aromatherapy as a carminative and antispasmodic for symptomatic relief of digestive discomfort as well as to help relieve cough and cold.
  • FOR EXTERNAL AND OCCASIONAL USE ONLY. DO NOT TAKE ORALLY. DO NOT USE ESSENTIAL OIL UNDILUTED. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. May cause allergic reaction; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If nausea, dizziness, headache or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.
    • Inhalation: Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
