Inspired by the internationally renowned painter who was personally involved in the creation of this soft cheese with its resolutely ‘animal’ flavour and aroma. Beneath its semi-bloomy white rind, which is slightly wrinkled with pinkish and reddish veins that become more pronounced with age, the cheese is smooth, light yellow to straw yellow depending on the season. It melts in the mouth and has a buttery, nutty flavour with a hint of garlic and cabbage that becomes more pungent with age. Gold medallist in 2023 and bronze medallist in 2018 at the World Cheese Awards.
