Ghee is a clarified butter. As its name suggests, clarified butter is a traditional butter from which the solid elements, such as casein and whey, have been removed to keep only the fat.
Heritage Ghee is made in Canada with 100% New Zealand grass fed butter. Fresh grass and hay allow for a higher CLA and superior ratio of Omega-6 to Omega- 3. The cows are minimum 90% pasture fed, and the product contains no growth hormones. Heritage Prasad Ghee is non-GMO, lactose free, gluten free, contains vitamin A and Butyric. Paleo, keto, and Whole30 friendly. 480F smoke point, ideal for high temperature cooking. Uses for sauteing, on toast and rise, in coffee/tea, baking.
