More Information

  • Natural latex, 100% silicone lubricant.
  • Latex condoms are intended to prevent pregnancy, transmission of HIV (AIDS), and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They reduce the risk of STI transmission by acting as a barrier to the source of these infections. Condoms are particularly effective against STIs such as HIV (AIDS) and gonorrhea, which are contracted through contact with the head of the penis. Condoms are less effective against STIs such as human papillomavirus (HPV) and herpes. These STIs can also be contracted through contact with infected skin not covered by the condom. If you think you have an STI, contact a health care provider. For more information about latex condoms and STIs, contact your healthcare provider or public health agency.

Do not use oil-based lubricants, such as those made with petroleum jelly (e.g., Vaseline brand), mineral oil, vegetable oil, or cold cream, as they may damage the condom. Caution: This product contains - natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock. If you or your partner has a latex allergy, consult a doctor before use. Consult a doctor or pharmacist regarding the compatibility of certain topical medications that may come into contact with the condom.

    1. Handle with care: Open the package carefully. Do not use your fingernails, teeth, or any other instrument that may damage the condom. Use a new condom for each new act of intercourse Never reuse a condom: Reusing a condom can cause it to break, increasing the risk of pregnancy and STIs.
    2. Get ready: Remove the condom from its packaging and apply a small amount of lubricant to the inner tip. Using extra lubricant reduces the risk of the condom breaking during use.
    3. Pinch the tip: Before any sexual contact, place the condom over the head of the erect penis, with the rolled side facing out. If the penis is uncircumcised, pull the foreskin back before putting on the condom. Pinch the tip of the condom that serves as a receptacle between your thumb and forefinger. This prevents air from getting trapped at the tip of the condom and leaves a vacuum to receive the sperm.
    4. Unroll: Roll the condom toward the base of the penis with your other hand. If the condom does not unroll easily, it may have been put on backwards, damaged, or too old. Throw it away and start over with a new condom.
    5. Apply lubricant: Adding extra lubricant will reduce the risk of your condom breaking during use. Apply to the outside of the condom.
    6. Intercourse: If the condom breaks during use, stop immediately and withdraw. Do not continue until you have put on a new condom and applied more lubricant.
    7. Hold on: Immediately after ejaculation, hold the base of the condom tightly and withdraw while the penis is still erect. This will prevent the condom from slipping off and leaking fluids.
    8. Dispose of it properly: Wrap the used condom in a tissue and put it in the trash so that no one else has to handle it. Do not flush it down the toilet. Wash your hands with soap and water. For added protection, wash your genitals with soap and water.
