Tiny but powerful seeds, our organic golden flax seeds pack a mean nutritional punch, and they're incredibly versatile to boot. Unlike chia seeds, you have to grind your golden flax seeds into a powder to make them digestible and get the most benefits out of them. Beware, however: they only keep for a maximum of two weeks once they've been ground, whereas whole seeds can keep up to 8 months in an airtight container in the fridge.

  • With their slightly nutty flavour, these seeds are a great addition to your breads, crackers and cakes! Note that it is best to consume flax when freshly ground to better assimilate its benefits. As a powder, add it to your smoothies, cereals, oatmeals, yogourts, homemade cookies and cakes or sprinkle it on top of your salads!

    Flax seeds can even be used as a substitute for eggs. How it works: grind the seeds blend and mix 1 tbsp with 3 tbsp of water, let's stand for a few minutes before using. Simple and delicious.
