Pancreatin is a combination of digestive enzymes normally produced by the pancreas and are important in the digestion of fats, proteins, and sugars. Each capsule contains a 4x concentrate of pancreatic enzymes, delivering 1,300 mg activity of lipase, protease, and amylase to support the pancreatic production of digestive enzymes.

  • Each enteric-coated capsule contains:

    Pancreatic enzymes 4x (from pork [Sus scrofa]) 4x concentrate.... 325 mg
    Providing:
    Amylase activity.... 32,500 USP units
    Protease activity... 32,500 USP units
    Lipase activity.... 2,600 USP units

    Other ingredients:
    A non-⁠GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum, purified water, and a water-based enteric coating.
  • Take 1 capsule two to four times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.
  • Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks or for prolonged use. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms.

    Cautions and warnings: Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, or cystic fibrosis; or if you have diabetes.

    Contraindications: Do not use if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.

    Known adverse reactions: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner.

    Warning: Do not take if you have intestinal ulcers or any form of inflammatory bowel disease.

    Store in a tightly closed, light-resistant container in a cool, dry place. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
