Professional activity evidence approval process


Avril Pro is a service that connects healthcare professionals with their clients. It is therefore important that we keep a copy of your valid professional activity proof in our records to maintain the professional integrity of the platform.

 

Approval of a professional activity proof is required before you can access your professional account's functionalities. However, you can start using the avril.ca site immediately. After your registration is approved, you will have access to all Avril Pro features, including the ability to recommend products from the Avril Pro catalog, sending recommendations, creating and managing protocols, adding clients, and managing your remuneration status.

 

Registration application reviews for the Avril Pro space are generally completed within one business day, and an email will be sent to inform you that your registration is complete and approved. By logging in on avril.ca, your account will be enhanced, and you will benefit from all Avril Pro features.

Acceptance Criteria for Diplomas

IWhen applying for registration in the Avril pro space, you must upload a digital copy of your membership in a professional order or association in the health field or a copy of your training diplomas in the health field before accessing the features of the Avril pro account.

 

Here are some things to consider when submitting your references for review:

 

  • If you submit proof of registration in a professional order or association, make sure your name and expiration date (if applicable) are displayed and legible.
  • Accepted file formats are JPEG, PNG, or PDF. You can upload only one file at a time, but you can do so multiple times during your registration application.

  • Full Name: Ensure that the full name on your document matches the full name used during your registration.
  • Diploma: Ensure that the specialty or field of study is present. If your diploma does not mention a specialty, we recommend uploading additional documents (such as a transcript) to speed up the approval process.
  • School or University: If the school or university where you obtained your diploma has closed or if the program has been removed, provide additional information about the closure to facilitate the review process and speed up approval.

 

Note: International Diplomas: We can only accept training validations issued in Canada. We do not accept continuing education diplomas, verification letters of obtaining a diploma, or award date letters for approval.

When you submit a registration number in a professional order or membership in a professional association, provide your most recent credentials by indicating your name and expiration date (if applicable).

  • Your full name
  • The institution that issued the proof
  • Your profession or professions
  • The valid expiration date if applicable

 

If the institution that issued your license or certificate no longer provides paper copies of your license, we will accept a screenshot of your information from an online verification system or public register. Ensure that the screenshot includes the website URL, your name, profession, and expiration date.

Note: If you are no longer a licensed healthcare provider, you cannot benefit from the Avril Pro space reserved for practicing healthcare professionals.


Non-Eligible Documents

  • Transcripts
  • International licenses and registrations: We can only accept training validations, registrations in a professional order, or registrations in a professional association issued in Canada.
  • Receipts, professional insurances, and tax documents: Documents related to professional activity, such as professional licenses, receipts, or tax forms, are not sufficient to activate an Avril Pro account.

If your credentials are rejected during the review, our team will send you an email explaining why your credentials were rejected and what to do next.
