This bright, shiny red wine presents aromatic notes of liquorice, spices and ripe fruit. At first, it is supple on the palate, eventually making way for silky smooth tannins that are long and complex. It can be paired with charcuteries, grilled lamb, stuffed summer vegetables and sheep milk cheese.

The Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard is located in the south of France, in a Mediterranean climate zone characterized by mild winters and hot summers and little rainfall. The grape varieties benefit from a great diversity of soils which explains the richness of the terroirs of this region and the diversity of AOCs offered in red, rosé, white and sweet wine. Carignan - Grenache - Syrah is a popular blend of dark-skinned grape varieties widely used in the south of France (Languedoc-Roussillon) and north-east of Spain (Catalonia). Mourvèdre has been added here. Carignan and Grenache are widely planted along the Mediterranean coast, while Syrah is particularly famous for its role in the wines of the Rhone Valley. The four grape varieties in this blend combine to produce a lively and fruity wine with moderate body and structure.
