Remove the lid to soften the sugar paste in the microwave for 15 to 45 seconds depending on the quantity in the jar. The area to be waxed must be clean, exfoliated, free of cream and well dried. Mix with a wooden stick until the texture is homogeneous. Spread a thin layer of sugar paste at a 45 degree angle in the direction of hair growth. Apply a strip and rub for good adhesion. Stretch the skin downward with one hand then pull quickly with the other hand following the angle of the region and not directly upwards to avoid bruising and in the opposite direction of hair growth. Use a damp washcloth to remove the stickiness and finish by applying Halawa post-depilatory moisturizing cream.
