What is seitan?

Called by some "Buddha food" or "wheat meat", seitan is a food originating from Asia and consumed since the 6th century. High in protein (it contains more than 20% vegetable protein1) and full of essential micronutrients such as calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium, it is ideal as a replacement for meat (which is higher in fat) if you are looking to minimize meat consumption and increase cardiovascular health. About L'Issue Végane Maison

L'Issue végane maison is a Quebec company dedicated to promoting healthy foods. It was born in 2017 from the creativity of Caroline Brochu and Laurent Van der Wee. It was originally located in Montreal, where products were sometimes delivered on foot. It is now based in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentides and it now distributes its seitans through Avril Supermarché Santé, also coming soon in other stores in the Greater Montreal area!
