Herbal tea: Pour 3 cups of boiling water (750 ml) over a tea bag, and let steep at least 15 minutes. Remove tea bag and keep unused portions refrigerated. Begin with small amounts of 1/2 to 1 cup daily for several days and then adjust intake to 1 to 3 cups daily according to your needs. Drink hot or cold.

Do not use if you experience abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids or diarrhea. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
