NaturellementBio raw cashews can be enjoyed whole as a nutritious snack or integrated into most meals. Once crushed into pieces, they blend perfectly into your savory (salads, stir-fries, rice, etc.) and sweet (cookies, brownies, cakes, etc.) recipes, making them a versatile ingredient in healthy cooking. In fine powder, cashews can be prepared in butters, sauces and tasty vegetable drinks. Try them roasted in the oven at 350˚F (180˚C) for 10 to 15 minutes!

Cashews are a good source of vitamins (B1, B2, E and K) and minerals (copper, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus and zinc). They also contain a significant amount of protein, providing satiety, fiber, beneficial for gut health, and antioxidants, protecting the cells from damage caused by free radicals. Another interesting fact: 60% of the fat contained in cashews is in the form of monounsaturated fatty acids, that is, “good fats” with beneficial effects on cardiovascular health.
