Does the registration is free in the Avril pro program?
The Avril pro services are free and reserved for healthcare professionals registered on Avril pro. No fees are incurred for registration or use of an Avril pro professional account.
How to register on Avril pro?
To register, you will need proof of training or registration with a recognised professional association or order. See the requirements for professional activity evidence.
If you choose to benefit from the Avril pro remuneration system, you will also need your specimen cheque and your tax details if you are subject to tax.
If you are a healthcare professional, you can start your registration:
- Go to the registration page
- Answer the questions on the form regarding your personal information, your professional practice information, your decision to be remunerated
- You must attach a supporting document of your professional activity. On this page, you will find all the information you need to know about this supporting document
- Our Avril pro Customer Service validates your registration
- You will receive an email confirming your registration
- Log out of the avril.ca website, then log back in
- You now have access to all Avril pro services
Can I register with my personal e-mail address on Avril pro?
Yes, you can use the same address for both your personal and business accounts.
What documents are accepted to validate a registration application?
When you register, you will need to provide a supporting document of your professional activity. This may be proof of training, registration with a professional association, or a professional order.

How can I make changes to my practice information?
When you registered, you filled out a form regarding your practice information.
From your professional account in the "Professional Information" section, you can modify:
- Your last name
- Your first name
- The name of your clinic (if applicable)
- The link to your website
- Your practice's postal address
- Your phone number
- The type of consultation you offer: in-person or remote
- A description of your services
You can also change your preferences for the following options
- Whether or not you wish to be listed in the Avril pro healthcare professionals directory
- Whether or not you want your phone number to appear in the Avril pro healthcare professionals directory

Avril pro recommendations
How can I start a recommendation?
You are a healthcare professional registered for the free Avril pro services.
To recommend products to a client:
- Go to My professional account
- In the left menu, open My customers list, and add your client's first name, last name, and email
To proceed:
- In the top menu, click on Customer recommendation
- Choose products on avril.ca via the search or within the categories
- Add personalized advice
- Select the client and send
How can I track the history of my recommendations?
In your professional account, you will find a summary of all your recommendations sent to your clients, including the send date, the recommendation title, and the recipient client's name.
How does my client receive my recommendation?
After finalizing your recommendation, select the client you want to send it to and press the "send" button.
Your client receives the recommendation by email. They log in to their Avril account or create one if needed:
- In their Avril account, they find recommendations from healthcare professionals in the "My recommendations" section.
- They simply select the received recommendation and click on "add products to my cart".
- Other products can be added to the cart.
- When the cart is complete, the client finalizes their order. They can choose to have it delivered or pick it up at a chosen store.
- Our team prepares the order.
What is a protocol?
Protocols are a complementary tool to help you prepare product pre-selections. They save you time during your client appointments. Each protocol contains a title and a description of your choice, which only you can read.
This content is not visible to your clients. You can change the texts and content of your protocols at any time.
How to add products to a protocol?
To add products to a protocol:
- choose a product on the site (using the search or in the categories)
- add the product by clicking on the small folder icon to the right of the heart
- or choose Add to protocol on the product page
To add a protocol to a customer recommendation:
- go to Your professional account
- open a protocol
- click on Add items to customer recommendation

What is the difference between an Avril Pro Selection product and the other products sold by Avril?
The products in the Avril pro Selection are new expert products sought from our suppliers. These products are not available for direct sale to the general public or in branches. They must be recommended by a health professional.
What is a special order product?
A special order product is a product that is not in regular inventory. When the product is ordered by your client, our Avril pro team places an order with the supplier.
By adding this type of product to an order, the delivery or pick-up date may be modified.
What is the status of my remuneration?
When creating your account, you chose your remuneration status from the following options:
- Yes, I can receive commissions as part of my profession
- No, I cannot receive commissions as part of my profession
Depending on your choice, the status of your remuneration will be marked as active or inactive.
If you wish to change your remuneration status, please contact our Avril pro customer service by:
- Direct messaging

How is my remuneration triggered?
Your compensation is triggered when your customer follows your recommendation and places an order on avril.ca.
Your professional compensation and double bonus (professional and customer) are renewed for 90 days, when your customer orders the same products again.
How is my remuneration calculated?
Provided that you can receive remuneration, the calculation of the remuneration level depends on the type of products chosen in your recommendations:
- The products chosen in the ‘Avril Pro Selection’ categories are identified by a small blue ‘Pro’ label. They give you up to 20% in additional benefits: a commission of up to 15% + 5% in Avril Dollars in your Avril account.
- On top of this, your customer will receive a further 5% in Avril Dollars in their personal Avril account.
- For all other products, you receive 2x Avril Dollars in your Avril account and your customer also doubles his Avril Dollars in his Avril account.
How can I make changes to my tax information?
When creating your account, you chose whether you are subject to taxes from the following two options:
- Yes, I am subject to taxes
- No, I am not subject to taxes
If you chose the "yes" option, you provided your federal and provincial tax account numbers.

If you are an individual customer, the Avril pro healthcare professional directory allows you to quickly find a natural healthcare professional close to you and in the speciality you are looking for.
Is access to the directory free?
The Avril pro directory of healthcare professionals is a free service offered to healthcare professionals and accessible to all.
How can I be included in the professionals directory?
During your Avril pro registration, you can choose whether or not to be included in the Avril pro healthcare professionals directory.
You can change your choice at any time in your professional account, under the "Professional Information" section.
What professional information is included in my professional profile?
