Avril Sélectionné maple syrup comes from a century-old sugar bush in the Escuminac region, located in Baie-des-Chaleurs, at the foot of the Appalachians. It is a unique terroir with a climate swept by the salty air of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, an ideal place for the production of maple syrup.

Our maple syrup is called “The Rare Harvest” because the sap used to produce it is harvested earlier in the sugaring season. The result is a natural, light-colored confection with a delicately sweet and slightly woody taste. It goes wonderfully with fresh fruit desserts, pancakes or ice cream.

AMBER COLOR
The color has nothing to do with the quality of different varieties of maple syrups, as it only varies (as for the taste) depending on when the sap is harvested. Amber maple syrup is made from maple sap harvested during the sugaring season.
ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
Avril sélectionné maple syrup have obtained Ecocert Canada certification, meaning that they are produced without any synthetic chemicals such as GMOs and pesticides.
