Shipping Policy

Our teams are committed to assembling your order within 48 working hours* of receipt, so that you can receive it as quickly as possible. However, it is important to note that the carrier may experience processing delays over which we have no control. The delivery date estimated by our team may be modified by the carrier or influenced by current circumstances.

Shipping: Canada Post

All our parcels are delivered by Canada Post (remote regions and post office boxes included). The tracking number will be emailed to you after the shipment of your package.


Avril cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by carrier overloads or in the event of breakage or damage to your package due to weather conditions. No compensation from Avril will be granted in such cases.


In the event of cancellation or refund of an order that has already been dispatched, shipping costs may be charged. You will find more details in the Cancellation and Returns section. Furthermore, no modifications (addition or removal of products) can be made once an order has been confirmed.

Shipping fees and delivery times

Minimal order amount of $35.

 

Please note that, for logistical reasons, neither fresh nor frozen produce can be shipped.

 

Customer is fully accountable for indicating the correct shipping address. Should your shipping address be incorrect, a customer service representative will communicate with you, and shipping fees may be charged. Please acknowledge this also applies to unclaimed or refused parcels.


Quebec and Ontario

Shipping charges for orders shipped are $11.95 and shipping time is 4 to 6 business days. Shipping in Canada is free* for orders of $75 or more before tax and below 10kg. Over 10 kg, a charge of $10 is added; up to 20 kg, a charge of $20 is added. Please note that we deliver all orders up to 20 kg due to the large volume and weight. If items are temporarily out of stock, a customer service representative will contact you.

 

*For packages weighing less than or equal to 10kg, only in Quebec and Ontario. Excluding remote regions of Canada.

Other provinces, territories and remote regions

Shipping fees are based on the weight of the order and destination. Our shipping fee calculator will determine shipping price upon confirmation of your order. The delivery time depends location. The list of postal codes in remote regions can be found here.

USA

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the order and your location. The fee calculator will tell you the price associated with the confirmation of your order. The delivery time in the United States is 3 to 9 working days.

Important : We do not accept returns from the United States.


Perishables

Our policy is to ship products with an expiration date of at least 1 month. If we cannot meet this commitment, we will contact you by email to let you know the expiration date and to know if you still want to receive the product.


Broken or opened items

Avril Supermarché Santé ships the items in their condition of purchase and packs them properly to avoid breakage during transportation. If you receive a damaged or opened item please email us or call us at 1 (844) 375-6446 (toll free), Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm EST.


Lost Packages

Parcels may get lost during transit. If you encounter this problem, please email us or call us at 1 (844) 375-6446 (toll free), Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. We will then contact our carrier and sort out the situation with them. Canada Post sets a deadline of 5 business days from the date of inquiry to determine the status of the package.
