Following training at the Lanaudière Academy of Hotel Management and Tourism (1998) and some experience in the restaurant industry, Simon Turcotte settled with his young family in Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare in northern Lanaudière. In September 2000, Simon Turcotte was invited to participate in the Sainte-Marcelline Artisans Festival. This was his first opportunity to showcase his exquisite creations. He then created around ten jam recipes that revealed his talent and passion.
