  • Each tea bag contains 600mg Arctium lappa (burdock) (root), 600mg Taraxacum officinale (dandelion) (leaf) and 300mg Althaea officinalis (marshmallow) (root).
  • Adults: Infuse 2 tea bags, once per day, in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Burdock is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an alterative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes, as a diuretic and to induce sweating (diaphoretic). Dandelion is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help increase bile flow (cholagogue and choleretic), as a laxative (aperient) and to help treat digestive disturbances (dyspepsia).
  • Do Not Use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae-Compositae-Daisy family; if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face and feet) or are taking products containing diuretics. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have liver or gall bladder diseases and-or intestinal obstruction. Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; if hypersensitivity-allergy occurs; if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and-or difficulty breathing. Indigestion: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 2 weeks. Diuretic: For occasional use only. Keep out of reach of children.
