  • Water, potato starch, rice flour, xanthan gum, organic white corn flour, tapioca starch, chickpea flour, organic apple cider vinegar, sugars (organic cane syrup, fruit powder [pears, apples, plums, calcium stearate]), potato flour, canola oil, salt.
  • Aidan's Gluten-Free® Pitas are useful, versatile flatbreads that can be used to make pizzas, wraps, pockets, quesadillas and more. For best performance and maximum flexibility, handle when warm. Simply place them in the microwave 20-30 seconds before use. To make a pizza, make a slight incision in the edge of the pita to allow air to escape during cooking. Spread sauce to within 1/2” (1.2 cm) of the edge and add toppings of your choice. For a crispy crust, place the pizza directly on the oven rack and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 12 to 18 minutes. For a tender crust, place pizza on a cookie sheet during baking. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes on a rack. Cut pizza into wedges and serve. To make a wrap, reheat the pita until soft, or form a pocket by cutting off the edge and gently opening. Add toppings of your choice and enjoy.

  • Preparation and storage of pitas. Aidan's Gluten-Free® pitas keep their freshness for up to 2 days on the counter at 20°C in a sealed bag. They freeze and thaw easily for extended storage. Do not refrigerate. To defrost pita, thaw in microwave until about room temperature.
