Annona Muricata, better known as Graviola, is a small evergreen tree that is dark green and glossy in color, can reach 5 to 6 m in height and prefers altitudes between 0 to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet). The fruit is usually called soursop because of its slightly sour taste when ripe and is used to make syrups, candies, drinks, ice creams and shakes.

Ideally this plant is best prepared as an infusion (tea): Use one teaspoon of powder for each cup of water. Pour boiling water over herb in cup and allow to steep 10 minutes. Strain tea (or allow settled powder to remain in the bottom of cup) and drink warm. It is traditionally taken in 1⁄2 to 1 cup dosages, 3 times daily. Can also be added to a drink or food of your choice.
