The Cat’s claw with small, yellowish-white flowers found in Peru is a large, woody vine that derives its name from hook-like thorns that grow along the vine and resemble the claws of a cat. It can grow to a length of up to 30 m (100 ft), climbing by means of these thorns and is the more commonly form of Cat’s Claw used in traditional medicine.
