This very beautiful bright red tomato developed in the 1950s at the Morden Experimental Farm in Manitoba is distinguished by its early production. It is ideal for regions where the short growing season does not allow the cultivation of several varieties of large tomatoes that take too long to produce. The smooth fruits, 10 cm in diameter, are slightly flattened and their firm, fleshy flesh has a very refreshing tart taste. It is an excellent tomato for slicing or canning. In addition, the determinate plant displays good resistance to Fusarium wilt and verticillium wilt.
