Charles-Aimé Robert 8 ans d'âge is a sweet acer aged for a long time in oak barrels. It is not mutated. The late-season harvesting of the maple sap from which it is made explains Charles-Aimé Robert's dark coppery color and complex, roasted flavors.

At the table - Charles-Aimé Robert is best served between 10 and 14°C. The nose blends aromas of caramel, candied fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, an exquisite texture is supported by rich flavors that take us from maple sugar to dried fruit, from chocolate to fine toast. It goes well with foie gras on brioche bread, full-bodied cheeses and chocolate desserts. It also nicely deglazes just-seared scallops.
