It is said that this excellent melon for northern regions we come from Siberia and the Russian cultivated extensively. In North America, it debuted at the Experimental Agricultural Station of New Hampshire in 1901. It has a color succulent flesh very tasty and sweet apricot. In 1937, the seed McFayden Seeds of Winnipeg, Manitoba described it as the largest of the early varieties. It has been widely cultivated by the Hutterite colonies in Manitoba who sold them at the market, but has become rare these days. Dark green oblong fruits are produced in abundance on a vigorous vine. 80-90 days.
