Organic
Product Number : 69041
The 'Savignac' tomato was discovered by a grower in the Joliette region named Dufresne in the 1930s. It was later perfected by Father Armand Savignac of the Clercs de Saint-Viateur who wanted to improve its productivity. and resistance to cold. Thanks to the work of Clerc Savignac, this round-shaped, smooth-skinned pink tomato is very well suited to cool climates and short growing seasons. It has earned an excellent reputation for its exceptional flavor and good disease resistance. Vigorous, indeterminate plants grow up to 2.5m tall and produce tomatoes measuring almost 10cm in diameter and weighing between 180 and 350 grams. Harvesting begins about 75-80 days after transplanting.
