Decant for 2 hours prior to serving.

Sangiovese is known to be one of the most widely used grape varieties in Italy. This variety gives fresh and tasty red wines, with aromas of berries and spices. When aged in barrels, Sangiovese takes on woody flavors that reveal themselves in the mouth with subtle earthy and floral notes. The origin of the name comes from the Latin "Sanguis di Jovis", that is to say the Blood of Jupiter, suggesting the importance given to this grape variety in the wine culture of the country.
