This beautiful salmon-coloured rosé reveals aromas of raspberry, cherry, strawberry and grenadine. On the palate, it is fresh, thirst-quenching and pure, with notes of red fruits, white flowers and a gooseberry finale. It is to be enjoyed chilled, but not too cold, as an aperitif or accompanied with greens, edemame beans, crudités or grilled fish. It is both refreshing and a pleasure to drink.

More Information

  • The vast central plains of the Castilla-La Mancha DO (Denominación de Origen) region extend south of Madrid and are now the largest wine region in Spain, with approximately 450,000 hectares under vine. The La Mancha DO accounts for almost half of all grapes grown and produces half of all wine in Spain. The quality of the wine is much higher than in other Spanish regions. The main grape varieties are Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Chardonnay. Tempranillo is a famous grape variety used in many Spanish red wines. It is marked by powerful fruit aromas and flavors. It is dark in color, low in acidity with medium to strong tannins. This variety offers contrasting flavors of leather and cherries and other red fruits. The finer the wine, the more balance there is between earth and fruit. The finish is smooth and lingering with the taste of tannin on both sides of the mouth. For those who have never tried Tempranillo, its flavor profile is reminiscent of Sangiovese or Cabernet Sauvignon. Wines made with Tempranillo are typically aged for several years in oak barrels.
