They grow there in quantity in the natural landscape thanks to the mild climate and the great fertility of the soils, having the effect of perpetuating them with each new harvest. Their fruit ensures the sustainability of organic crops by contributing to the biodiversity of the territory: once the seeds have been picked, the squash are left in the fields, serving as a natural amendment for the soil and the wildlife.
