NaturellementBio quinoa comes from the Andean highlands, located in western Bolivia, at an altitude of 4,000 meters. In the territory of the great salt lakes of Altiplano, it has grown there since pre-Columbian times in the most natural way while resisting the cold, drought and heat of the climate. This farming tradition has the effect of perpetuating agricultural production of quinoa that respects the environment and the heritage of future generations.

More Information

  • Organic red royal quinoa.
    May contain traces of nuts.
  • Soak 1 cup of quinoa in water for 10 minutes. Rinse the seeds well and add them to a saucepan with 1 ½ cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes until all the water is absorbed.
  • In addition to being an excellent source of essential minerals, quinoa contains a high content of proteins, which participate in muscle repair and the renewal of the body's cells, as well as in fiber, which contributes to the proper functioning of the digestive system.
  • QUINOA, A CEREAL?
Although it is cooked and eaten in the same way as grains, quinoa is botanically speaking not a cereal but a seed just like spinach: the part consumed is in fact the seed of the plant food.

    GLUTEN-FREE
To meet the requirements of a balanced diet, Avril offers a full range of organic gluten-free products using specific production, preparation and distribution methods to avoid the risk of cross-contamination with gluten.

    ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
NaturellementBio quinoa has obtained Ecocert Canada certification, meaning that it is grown without any synthetic chemicals such as GMOs and pesticides.
