Soak 1 cup of quinoa in water for 10 minutes. Rinse the seeds well and add them to a saucepan with 1 ½ cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes until all the water is absorbed.
In addition to being an excellent source of essential minerals, quinoa contains a high content of proteins, which participate in muscle repair and the renewal of the body's cells, as well as in fiber, which contributes to the proper functioning of the digestive system.
